We specialize in Italian hand-stained leather which is metal-free, sustainable, and not harmful to people. This centuries-old Tuscan tanning tradition produces colorful leather that is easy to craft and gets better with age. Creating new styles out of supple full-grain leather brings us to the workshop every day with a smile.

The Firenze Saddle Bag is made with full-grain calfskin leather that was vegetable-tanned in Tuscany to create rich color tones, while the semi-gloss finish helps prevent stains. The 8 oz cotton duck canvas lining is made in South Carolina and is very durable. The combination of Italian vegetable-tanned leather, Italian craftsmanship, and U.S.-made canvas lining make our leather handbags high quality and lightweight. This timeless crossbody saddle bag is practical and comfortable, with a classic style that complements any wardrobe and makes it the perfect daily go-to bag.

The Firenze Saddle Bag features an inside zip pocket and a multi-function/smartphone pocket. It has a built-in shoulder strap that adjusts from 42" to 46". All Floto leather bags are handcrafted in Florence, Italy by skilled artisans practicing techniques handed down for generations. The slow process of tanning Floto leather uses natural vegetable tannins with total respect for nature, and our raw leather skins are a byproduct of the food industry, with our tanning waste reused in other supply chains. Artisans in the hills of Tuscany carefully hand-stain each Floto leather skin using a special cotton sponge and non-toxic, vegetable-based stain.

As an American brand, every Floto leather bag is artisan-made in Italy, but designed and packaged in the United States. We are a small, family-owned company, and we stand by all of our products to ensure you can enjoy them as much as we do. If you experience any problems with your Floto bag during its natural life, you can send it to our Connecticut workshop for repair. We strive to ensure your happiness as a Floto customer.
