Floto was established in 2003 after Joe Floto brought back a leather travel bag from Italy and noticed that people constantly asked him, "Where did you get that bag?" This inspired the creation of the Floto brand, which specializes in Italian hand-stained leather that is metal-free, sustainable, and not harmful to people. The centuries-old Tuscan tanning tradition produces colorful leather that is easy to craft and improves with age.

At Floto, creating new styles from supple full-grain leather brings the team to the workshop every day with a smile. The brand offers several collections, including the Classic Collection made with semi-gloss finish full-grain calfskin leather, the Roma Collection made with oil-finished full-grain calfskin leather, and the Floto Collection made with semi-gloss finish full-grain calfskin leather that softens over time.

The Parma Collection, made with full-grain leather lightly tanned with chestnut extracts for a natural look that darkens over time, and the Super Tuscan, a leather-lined travel bag made with full-grain hand-stained leather inside and out, are also part of the Floto lineup. The brand also offers classic-style wallets in the same leather as their travel bags.

Floto leather bags are handcrafted in Italy, with each bag passing through 28 different workstations at the factory in Florence, including cutting, skiving, gluing, sanding, painting, internal assembly, hand stitching, and riveting. The Parma Duffle Bag, part of the Parma Collection, is made with premium full-grain calfskin leather that is hand-tanned in Tuscany using only chestnut extracts and natural oils. The soft shoulder sections are carefully selected for their supple texture and minimal blemishes. The Parma leather develops a unique patina and darkens like a saddle over time.

The Parma Duffle features thick khaki stitching, extra handle padding, an inside zip pocket, a durable cotton duck canvas lining, silver-finish YKK zippers, and silver-finish hardware. It measures 11" h x 10" w x 21" l and weighs 5 pounds.
